大賽賽題:
"Smart" technology enables business
?
Smart technology is being developed and launched at an unprecedented speed. It is omnipotent as it is integral and crucial to business survival and success. It is ubiquitous as it can be found in different parts of business. It is multifarious, ranging from advanced machineries or devices, software and algorithm, to revolutionary business models that can increase the competitiveness of companies in the new digital economy.?
The First "HEP"Cup Business Practice Contest requires students to explore how smart technology enables business. It requires students to:
1)identify one or more aspects that need improvements;
2)make a proposal that will address those aspects;
3)conduct investigation to justify the appropriateness and effectiveness of the proposal;
4)communicate the entire proposal in a presentation with the aim to persuade board of directors to invest in the project.
The contest emphasizes actual collaboration between a team of students and a partner company. The student team must venture out into the field and collect data. This should include visits to the central or the regional headquarter of the companies and in-depth meetings with leaders, employees, or customers of the company. In order to support the findings and recommendations, surveys should be conducted with relevant parties.

? ? 智能科技正以前所未有的速度得到開發(fā)并被投入市場(chǎng)。它無所不能，因?yàn)樗鼘?duì)企業(yè)的生存與成功至關(guān)重要且不可或缺；它無處不在，因?yàn)樗嬖谟谏虡I(yè)的各個(gè)領(lǐng)域；它形態(tài)多樣，從先進(jìn)的機(jī)器或設(shè)備、軟件、計(jì)算方法等，到新數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)中能夠增加公司競(jìng)爭力的革命性商業(yè)模式，形式不一而足。?
本屆大賽要求學(xué)生對(duì)智能科技如何能夠助力企業(yè)進(jìn)行探索。學(xué)生必須：
1.發(fā)現(xiàn)（企業(yè)中）一個(gè)或多個(gè)需要改進(jìn)的方面；
2.針對(duì)那些方面提出一個(gè)建議書；
3.展開調(diào)研證明所提建議的適用性和有效性；
4.通過講介溝通整份建議書的內(nèi)容，旨在說服董事會(huì)投資該項(xiàng)目。
? ? 大賽注重學(xué)生團(tuán)隊(duì)與協(xié)作企業(yè)之間的合作。學(xué)生團(tuán)隊(duì)必須親臨現(xiàn)場(chǎng)收集數(shù)據(jù)，包括拜訪該公司的總部或者區(qū)域總部，與公司領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、員工或者客戶進(jìn)行深入會(huì)談。為了驗(yàn)證調(diào)研的結(jié)果和建議，團(tuán)隊(duì)必須對(duì)相關(guān)人員進(jìn)行抽樣調(diào)查。
